Lot Of Jean Merlins Ropes Series Nos 1 18 Nr
Thanks to all my reepat customers for your continued support and patronage during the past year! And welcome to any one i haven't done business with -yet! I am about 3/4 way through the collection, with about another 4 to 6 months to go, so stay tuned. And now, on to todays item.
Lot of jean merlin's ropes series numbers 1 through 18 published from 1973 through 1978 no reserve! Lot includes number one through number 18 of jean merlin's ropes series, published in 1973. A total fo fifteen issues, as three of the issues are infact double issues.
Each booklet is fully illustrated, with instructive diagrams pertaining to a variety of different effects including the cut and restored rope, others rope cuttings, tricks with rope rings, the whip sleight, optical separation, appointement of ropes, my 2 best-loved cut and restored ropes, and method of tying a false knot + the flying knot. Includes two folders titled more rope for you too and lecture notes 12 rope series part 2, which both hold some of the loose issues mentioned previously.
The condition of the items in this lot, range from very good to mint condition overall. The lecture notes 12 rope series part 2 folder, and rope series no. 7 and 8, all have a small chip and tape repair near the bottom left edeg of the front cover. Some of the issues, as well as the folders holding issues are lightly rubbed. As with any booklets this old, some ageing nad minor imperfections should be expected, as well as the possibility of unobtrusive prior owner's notations, inventory control numbers and / or signatures. This is an auction adn this lot is being sold as is, so please ask any questions you may have before you bid. Item will be held for 5 days and payment is expected iwthin that time or auction is null and void at my discretion. If you are bidding on multiple items in auctions ending on different days, payment is expected within 7 days so i can keep things straight on my end. Money order and paypal will be shipped within 3 business days, itesm paid by check may be held until the check has cleared. Combined shipping at the same price as long as the weight doesn't kick up to the next higher rate and multiple packages aren't necessary. A note to our international bidders please keep in mind that not all of the costs associated with out-of-country shipping are just for the bare costs of the postage itself. With the cost of gasoline being what it is these days, it costs me over $5.00 in gas and wear and tear on the car alone to make the special trip to the post office that is required because of customs forms, not to mention the additional time (usually an additional hour or more, round trip). Also, several times i have taken the packages for out-of-country shipment to the post office, only to be told that the postage was more than what was charged by the ebay calculator and more than what was quoted by their own usps online calculator. Another consdieration is the cost of packing materials (tape, packing foam, etc. ). This is why i have 2 statements in the listing to pelase click on the shipping calculator to determine your cost to ship this item before you bid so there are no surprises. I put them there so there would be no surprise as to the cost to ship these itesm after the fact.
